ShareAbout Rhythms School of Dance
Rhythms opened in Huddersfield in October 1992. For the first thirteen years the dancing school was based in Marsh Mills, before moving to our current premises in Dale Street Mill, Longwood/Milnsbridge.
All children are given the opportunity to study ballet, modern and tap work. All though it isn't compulsary all are encouraged to take examinations in one or more genres of dance. We follow IDTA and Acrobatic Arts syllabi.
As well as examination work, the children enjoy taking part in the school's annual show and for those who wish, a large proportion of the school take part very successfully in festivals and competitions.
Our large studio provides excellent facilities, including a semi sprung floor with a mirrored wall, as well as central heating and air conditioning. A spacious reception area provides a pleasant waiting area. There is also a changing area and private bathroom facitilities.
At Rhythms School of Dance we believe that children learn better in a happy and friendly environment and understand that each child has individual needs. Therefore it is our aim ,to create an atmosphere for all the children to achieve their full potential, consequently creating a professional result and peformance.
